So am thinking what exactly would be an appropriate post now...and i can't really think of anything real to post. So i'll just put here what i received in my mail maybe it makes sense to be shown here...

* "Wherever you are, be there totally. If you find your here and now intolerable and it makes you unhappy, you have three options: remove yourself from the situation, change it, or accept it totally" -

* "You must have failed deeply on some level or experienced some deep loss or pain to be drawn to the spiritual dimension. Or perhaps your very success became empty and meaningless and so turned out to be a failure" -

* "Unease, anxiety, tension, stress, worry — all forms of fear — are cause by too much future, and not enough presence. Guilt, regret, resentment, grievances, sadness, bitterness, and all forms of nonforgiveness are caused by too much past, and not enough presence" -

*The pain that you create now is always some form of nonacceptance, some form of unconscious resistance to what is. On the level of thought, the resistance is some form of judgment. On the emotional level, it is some form of negativity. The intensity of the pain depends on the degree of resistance to the present moment, and this in turn depends on how strongly you are identified with your mind." -

* "Nobody’s life is entirely free of pain and sorrow. Isn’t it a question of learning to live with them rather than trying to avoid them?

By the way I found out these are from a Book called "Power of Now"

Two days early but nevethless HAPPY NEW YEAR 2005 everyone!

A Violent and Unjust Death for Many...

Since yesterday night my eyes have been glued to all the news channels.I cannot even fathom what those who have lost everything must be going through.I felt guilty about havin dinner...i was thinkin here i am sittin comfortably in my chair safe and away from all of that but i really should be out there helpin in whatever way i can. Its so easy to watch and and say "thankgod it wasn't me" Each and everybody's lives mean something to someone.lets all pray and help cause this is going to be one excruciatingly long long road to recovery. Its no use putting up pics of the destruction...its not going to make you feel any better or worse about the whole thing. And again as alwayz its the poor people who are the worst suffers.

Lets hope this does not happen again..nobody deserves this.
