My Aunt n Uncle are celebrating their 25th anniversary on sunday in Bombay. One would thing i would be excited to go for the 'big dinner party' but sadly I am not. Its quite odd actually and it probably has somethin to do with me not really gettin along with them. I've never really jelled with relatives from my dad's side of the family, especially with my cousin sisters. With my cousin bro's i ain't got no prbs, we somehow find somethin to talk about. Somehow with all of my cousin sisters even the ones from my Mom's side, they were never on the same wavelength as i was. I always felt out of place or uncomfortable in their presence. Its been what like 17yrs that i haven't seen any of my cousins. So obviously the distance between us shows. I have never shown any interest in meetin them and neither have they. Gosh this is so dreadful and i hope my parents don't coerce me into gng. As you all know Mom's have a way of using guilt to get things done and it friggin works!!!

See ya'll monday..have a nice one :)

I have always been a very black person. In the sense that I like wearing black all the time or atleast i used to love wearing it. I still remember 7yrs ago when i was like 16yrs old, my wardrobe was filled with black. Black jeans/tops, black hairclips, black watches etc. And if not black then my clothes used to have the darkest of greens or blues, so tht from afar, it looked black. I also recall when my Godfather had come down from Dubai to meet us around that time,he had got me this top which my mom called 'pretty' and I absolutely loathed it. It was just an explosion of too many colours!!. There was pink n yellows n greens n fuschias...i was like.. the only time i will ever wear tht is when hell freezes over.

Hell apparently did freeze over. I don't remember exactly when i wore tht top. But i do know tht i wore it coz i wanted to know wot it feels to be in 'other colours' so to speak. I soon found it to be a very bad decision! There were people starin at me and not in way tht said 'oh tht top looks so cute' kinda way. But more like 'Oh bloody hell, what is she doing wearing THAT thing in public! *shudders* But tht was then and back then i never had any sense of fashion whatsoever.

In the recent year or so i have discovered tht i actually like wearing lighter pastel shades. I can't stand black nemore. Of course every year it keeps gettin hotter n hotter in this country and yo if u happen to wear black clothing in the afternoon, you will definitely end up like a fried tandoori chicken. You should come see my wardrobe now :) plenty of { one coloured) tops n skirts will smile back at u or not ;)
